Arriving and settling in a new country can be challenging, but the International Office at Cyprus West University is dedicated to ensuring that international students feel comfortable, confident, and pleased upon their arrival in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus. Orientation days are organized at the beginning of the academic year to help international students feel at home on the university campus in Famagusta. In addition to orientation days, our office arranges various cultural and sports events throughout the semester, providing opportunities for students to interact and engage with each other. With students from 20 different countries, Cyprus West University offers a diverse and multicultural environment, allowing students to experience and appreciate various cultures within one country and classroom.

As part of the International Office, our duties include:

-Assisting with accommodation reservations, rental contracts, and settling into new accommodations
-Providing guidance and assistance with visa and residency procedures
-Offering advice on scholarships and external funding opportunities
-Organizing cultural events both on campus and in the city
-Arranging career events on campus
-Providing support for students’ academic concerns and needs
-Participating in and organizing educational fairs
-Supporting students’ clubs and societies
